About the Author
Joseph Tavana is a Chartered Accountant, and president and founder of Tavana & Co. Professional Corporation, with over 25 years of experience as a certified financial planner.
Joseph holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Wales in the UK and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in London, England in 1971, after which he began practicing as a professional accountant. In 1984 he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in Ontario and established his Canadian accounting practice in that same year.
In 1985, Joseph established Datawhiz Information Systems Inc. a company devoted to providing consulting on microcomputer-based accounting software.
